About Us

Muscle Therapy Wellness Lounge LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a licensed massage therapy and wellness facility located at 117 Washington Ave Suite 21, North Haven, CT 06473. We provide licensed massage therapy, bodywork, and recovery technology services performed by Connecticut-licensed massage therapists.

Our services are provided within the scope of practice of licensed massage therapy and are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, or advice from a licensed physician, physical therapist, chiropractor, or other licensed medical professional.

Scope of Services

All services provided at Muscle Therapy Wellness Lounge are performed by Connecticut-licensed massage therapists operating within the lawful scope of practice for licensed massage therapy in the State of Connecticut.

Services include but are not limited to: Signature Muscle Therapy, infrared sauna, red light therapy, compression therapy, HydroJet massage, robotic back relief table, and AI mobility lab sessions. Individual results vary and are not guaranteed.

Booking, Cancellations & No-Shows

Appointments may be booked online through our scheduling system. By booking an appointment, you agree to the following:

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.
• Late cancellations (less than 24 hours notice) may be charged up to 50% of the session fee.
• No-shows (failure to appear without notice) may be charged the full session fee.
• We reserve the right to require a credit card on file to hold appointments.
• Repeat no-shows or late cancellations may result in restricted booking privileges.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to therapist unavailability, facility issues, or circumstances beyond our control. We will provide as much advance notice as possible in such cases.

Payment & Fees

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, HSA cards, and FSA cards. Cash may be accepted at our discretion.

• All prices are listed on our website and scheduling system and are subject to change without notice.
• Package and membership purchases are non-refundable once services have been rendered.
• Gift cards and prepaid packages have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• HSA and FSA payments are accepted; however, we make no guarantee regarding your plan’s reimbursement eligibility. Consult your plan administrator.
• Superbills are provided upon request for potential out-of-network insurance reimbursement. We do not bill insurance directly.

Health & Safety

Your safety is our priority. You are responsible for disclosing any health conditions, medications, injuries, surgeries, or contraindications prior to receiving services. Failure to disclose relevant health information may result in injury for which Muscle Therapy Wellness Lounge assumes no liability.

We reserve the right to refuse service to any client if, in our professional judgment, a service may pose a health risk. This includes but is not limited to:

• Active infections, contagious skin conditions, or communicable illness
• Recent surgery without physician clearance
• Acute injuries that may be aggravated by treatment
• Conditions that fall outside the scope of licensed massage therapy
• Any condition for which massage or recovery services are medically contraindicated

If you are pregnant, have a pacemaker, blood clots, deep vein thrombosis, active cancer, or any serious medical condition, you must obtain physician clearance before using any of our services, particularly infrared sauna, red light therapy, PEMF, or compression therapy.

Client Conduct

We maintain a professional, safe, and respectful environment for all clients and staff. By visiting our facility, you agree to:

• Treat all staff members with professionalism and respect
• Arrive on time for scheduled appointments
• Disclose relevant health information honestly and completely
• Not attend appointments while under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Respect the privacy and quiet of other clients

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to any client who violates these standards of conduct.

Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

Massage therapy, bodywork, and recovery technology services involve inherent risks. By using our services, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with such services, including but not limited to temporary soreness, bruising, skin sensitivity, fatigue, or aggravation of pre-existing conditions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Muscle Therapy Wellness Lounge LLC, its owners, therapists, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of our services, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Muscle Therapy Wellness Lounge LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your failure to disclose health conditions, your violation of these terms, or your own negligence.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website and in our facilities — including text, images, logos, service descriptions, marketing materials, and code — is the intellectual property of Muscle Therapy Wellness Lounge LLC and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any of our content for commercial purposes without express written permission. Unauthorized use will be pursued to the fullest extent of the law.

Privacy

We collect and use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Client health intake information is kept confidential and is not shared with third parties except as required by law or with your explicit written consent.

Website Use

Our website at muscletherapyct.com is provided for informational purposes. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of website content. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our website at any time without notice.

You agree not to use our website for any unlawful purpose, to scrape or copy our content, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems, or to interfere with the operation of our website in any way.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration in New Haven County, Connecticut, in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.

You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Muscle Therapy Wellness Lounge LLC.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
