Hip Pain Relief in North Haven, CT

Hip & glute pain · North Haven, CT

Hip pain that finally lets go.

Deep hip ache, a glute that won't release, pain on the outside of the hip when you lie on it, or hips that feel welded shut after a day at a desk — hip pain is one of the most treatable patterns we see.

Your session is built in the room: licensed hands-on muscle therapy through the hip flexors, glute complex, deep rotators, TFL and lateral line, layered with medical-grade recovery technology in one private visit.

What we do exceptionally well

What makes hip work here exceptional.

Hips are deep. Getting real change requires depth, skill and time — three things a rushed 50-minute spa massage can't give you.

We reach the deep rotators

Piriformis, obturators, gemelli and quadratus femoris — the muscles most sessions never actually get to.

Front and back in one session

A tight psoas and rectus femoris drive as much hip pain as the glutes do. We treat both sides of the joint.

Licensed clinical therapists — every session

Connecticut-licensed, trained in deep clinical bodywork, one client at a time.

Technology layered where it earns it

PEMF, red light, HydroJet, compression, infrared sauna and robotic decompression — used for a reason, not for a menu.

Real 60 or 90 minutes

Hip work takes time. No rushing, no upsells, no clock-watching.

Inside your session

What's in your hip session.

Every hip visit is customized. Your therapist chooses from the tools below based on what your body needs that day.

Deep Tissue & Myofascial

Sustained pressure into the glute max, medius, minimus and the deep external rotators.

Psoas & Hip Flexor Work

Careful anterior work on the muscles that shorten from years of sitting and quietly pull the pelvis out of position.

Cupping Therapy

Decompresses the TFL, lateral hip and stuck gluteal fascia.

Heated Graston

Instrument work along the IT band origin, glute attachments and lateral hip.

Assisted Stretch

PNF-style hip opening — internal and external rotation, flexion and extension.

Robotic Spinal Decompression

Gentle lumbar traction that offloads the hip-pelvis relationship.

PEMF Therapy

Calms deep guarding in the pelvic girdle.

Normatec Compression

Flushes the posterior chain that feeds directly into the hip.

Infrared Sauna

Deep heat that makes stubborn hip tissue far more receptive.

Questions we hear a lot

Answers before you book.

Is my hip pain actually sciatica?

Sometimes. Deep glute pain that radiates down the back of the leg can come from the sciatic nerve, the deep rotators, or the SI joint. We assess which pattern you're presenting with before choosing techniques.

Why do my hips feel tight after sitting all day?

Sitting keeps the hip flexors shortened and the glutes switched off for hours. The tight feeling in the back of the hip is often the result of a short psoas in the front — which is why we treat both.

Can you help outer hip pain when I lie on my side?

That pattern typically involves the gluteal tendons and lateral hip tissue. It responds well to soft-tissue work plus targeted loading — and we'll refer if it needs medical evaluation.

How many sessions will I need?

Most clients feel a real shift the first visit. Chronic hip patterns that have been in place for years usually settle over 2 to 4 sessions.

I'm pregnant or postpartum — can you help hip pain?

Yes, and it's common work for us. Please book and give us a call before or after so we can customize positioning and pressure safely.

Do you take HSA/FSA?

Yes. HSA and FSA cards are accepted, and superbills are available for out-of-network reimbursement.
