Plantar Fasciitis Treatment in North Haven, CT

Heel & foot pain · North Haven, CT

Plantar fasciitis relief that starts at the calf.

That first step out of bed shouldn't feel like stepping on a nail. Plantar heel pain is one of the most treatable problems we see — as long as the plan treats the calf, not just the foot.

Your session works the whole posterior chain: deep tissue and myofascial release through the gastrocnemius, soleus and deep compartment, heated Graston along the Achilles and plantar surface, and recovery technology chosen for your foot that day.

What we do exceptionally well

Why heel pain work here holds.

Rolling a ball under your arch treats the symptom. Restoring ankle motion and calf length treats the cause.

We treat the calf first

Limited ankle dorsiflexion is the most consistent driver of plantar heel pain. That's where the session starts.

Instrument-assisted precision

Heated Graston along the Achilles insertion and plantar surface reaches tissue hands alone can't change.

Licensed clinical therapists

Connecticut-licensed, trained in clinical bodywork — not a foot-rub add-on.

Cryotherapy and red light on site

Localized cryo for an angry heel, clinical red light for the collagen-repair side.

You leave with the loading plan

Hands-on work opens the window. Progressive heel raises are what keep it open — we show you exactly how.

Inside your session

What's in your plantar fasciitis session.

Customized every visit based on how irritable the tissue is that day.

Deep Tissue & Myofascial

Gastrocnemius, soleus and the deep posterior compartment — the tissue actually pulling on your heel.

Heated Graston

Instrument-assisted work along the Achilles and plantar fascia to address chronic collagen change.

Cupping Therapy

Decompresses the posterior calf and improves circulation to a chronically loaded lower leg.

Assisted Stretch

Restores true ankle dorsiflexion — the single most important mechanical change.

Localized Cryotherapy

Targeted cooling for an irritable heel after deeper work.

Triple Max Red Light

Clinical panel supporting tissue repair and circulation.

Normatec Compression

Flushes the lower leg after treatment.

Infrared Sauna

Pre-table heat that makes a locked calf far more workable.

Questions we hear a lot

Answers before you book.

Why does it hurt most in the morning?

The fascia shortens while you sleep, then gets abruptly loaded on your first steps. Morning pain is usually the last symptom to leave, which is why it's a good progress marker.

Can massage fix plantar fasciitis?

Soft-tissue work through the calf and plantar surface reliably improves pain and ankle motion. Combined with progressive heel-raise loading, that's the combination with the best track record.

How long until it's gone?

Most cases improve substantially over 3 to 6 months with consistent work. Long-ignored cases take longer, but nearly all of them respond.

Do I need orthotics?

Short-term support can help while the tissue is irritable. Long term, building calf and foot capacity beats depending on support. A podiatrist can advise on your foot structure.

Can I keep running or working on my feet?

Usually yes, with modified volume. The best gauge is next-morning pain — if it's worse the following day, the load was too high.

Do you take HSA/FSA?

Yes, and superbills are available for out-of-network reimbursement.
